ABOUT ME

I have been working on computers for over 12 years. I graduated from DeVry University in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.

I started working at South Suburban PADS in Chicago Heights as a IT assistant. My job consisted of upgrading our Web-Based program, upgrade our internal network and server for better security, and also create daily backups of our data. As of 2005, I became the only IT employee to work full-time. I started teaching classes to our clients. I taught Basic Computer classes, Hardware / Software classes and networking classes.

In August 2006, I was hired at the South Suburban Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse as the Computer Information Systems Coordinator / Analyst as a Full-Time employee. I then went to Part-Time at PADS. My responsibilities at the Council were similar to PADS and then some. I am now more currently involved with more Database Administration and Software Support. Not to mention ongoing email and phone support, software installs, networking, report writing, rebuilding computers, daily backups, installing updates and much more. I recently was promoted to a Director position and I am currently a IT Administrator / Analyst.

I also worked at the Tinley Park mental Health Center when evacuees from Hurricane Katrina were sent there. I was in charge of setting up networking computers as well as networking printers. I also created an Access database to store the families information so when someone would contact the Health Center, we would have a record of all the families that were there.

I thoroughly enjoy both of my jobs and love coming to work. I love what I do and I can't wait to help you!
